Membership

Acupuncture Practice Systems is an online membership designed specifically for acupuncturists. Inside you'll find business CEUs, marketing resources, downloadable templates, operational systems, practice management training, and real-world documents developed from nearly two decades of building a successful acupuncture and massage practice.

APS is designed for acupuncturists at every stage of practice.

Whether you're still in school, opening your first clinic, growing a patient base, hiring providers, or scaling a multi-provider practice, we have resources designed to help you take the next step.

Absolutely! Many of our resources focus on marketing, patient communication, practice setup, time management, business planning, and operational systems that are valuable whether you're working alone or managing a larger team.

Yes. While Clinical Architect focuses on team growth, our Roots and Flow memberships are designed for practitioners who want to build strong foundations, improve marketing, attract patients, and create efficient systems regardless of practice size.

Many experienced practitioners join APS because they want to improve operations, refine systems, build referral relationships, develop leadership skills, hire providers, or simply learn from someone who has navigated many of the same challenges.

No matter where you are in practice, there's always another level of growth.

Roots is ideal for students, recent graduates, and practitioners establishing or strengthening their practice foundation.

Flow is designed for practitioners focused on marketing, referrals, patient growth, and improving practice operations.

Clinical Architect is best for clinic owners who are hiring providers, building teams, and creating systems that support long-term growth.

APS is organized into membership tiers based on where you are in your business journey, making it easy to find resources that are most relevant to your current stage of practice.

Within each membership, content is organized into clearly labeled sections so you can quickly locate the topics, templates, videos, and CEUs you're looking for.

Every acupuncturist is at a different stage of practice.

Someone preparing to open their first clinic has very different needs than someone hiring their fifth provider. The membership tiers allow you to invest in the resources that are most relevant to your current stage while giving you the opportunity to grow into additional content over time.

Yes! As your practice grows, you can upgrade to a higher membership tier at any time.

Roots: $89/month or $899/year

Flow: $129/month or $1299/year

Clinical Architect: $349/month or $3499/year

One of my favorite things about APS is that it's designed to grow alongside our members.

I genuinely love hearing from acupuncturists about the challenges they're facing, the resources they're looking for, and the topics they'd like to learn more about. Many of the documents, videos, and CEUs inside APS have been inspired by real questions from practitioners.

If there's a topic, template, system, or resource you wish existed but can't find in the membership, I encourage you to let me know. While I can't guarantee that every request will be created, I take member feedback seriously and use it to help guide future content.

One of the advantages of a growing membership is that when I create a new resource in response to a member's request, everyone benefits. My goal is for APS to continue evolving into the most comprehensive business resource library available for acupuncturists, and member feedback plays a huge role in making that happen.

That's completely normal.

APS contains a wide variety of resources because every practice owner has different goals. Rather than expecting every member to use every template or watch every video, the goal is to give you access to the tools you'll need when the time is right.

Think of it as a business reference library that's available whenever your practice reaches a new stage of growth.

CEUs

Our CEUs are approved by CA and NCCAOM/NCBAHM. For each course's approved category and hours/credits information review each course on our course page.

Yes. Business CEUs are available to purchase individually, but members of APS receive free access to CEUs included with their membership tier.

Roots includes Getting Your Acupuncture Business Established and Marketing for Acupuncturists 1.0.

Flow includes Navigating Personal Injury Liens in Acupuncture Practice, Interprofessional Communication for Acupuncturists, Clinical Time Management for Acupuncturists and Marketing for Acupuncturists 2.0. *Also includes any CEUs in Roots.

Clinical Architect includes all CEUs.

Clinical education is essential, but building a successful practice requires more than clinical knowledge alone. Our business CEUs are designed to help you improve marketing, patient communication, operations, leadership, time management, and practice growth.

Resources

Yes. All of our templates, social media images and marketing materials are designed so you can customize them to fit your own practice, policies, branding, and state regulations.

Yes. The resources inside APS were created by an acupuncturist, for acupuncturists, and have been developed and refined through real-world use in our own clinic over the past 18 years. The examples, systems, marketing strategies, templates, and documents are designed with acupuncture practice ownership in mind—not generic small business advice.

Because our clinic also employs massage therapists, you'll also find additional resources related to building and managing a multidisciplinary wellness practice, including massage operations, staffing, and room rental strategies to help maximize the profitability and utilization of your space.

Yes. The templates, SOPs, onboarding documents, and operational resources available inside APS are the same types of documents I've developed and used while growing my own practice over the past 18 years.

Many templates can be customized to fit your practice, branding, policies, and state regulations.

Because every practice is unique and laws vary by state, members are responsible for reviewing and adapting documents as needed before implementing them.

Because being a great acupuncturist and running a successful practice are two different skill sets. The more confident you become in marketing, communication, operations, leadership, and business management, the more likely you'll build a sustainable practice that allows you to continue helping patients for years to come.

About Dr. Amy

After 18 years of building and growing a successful acupuncture and massage practice, I realized that many talented acupuncturists struggled with the business side of practice ownership—not because they weren't great clinicians, but because they had limited opportunities to learn business-specific skills. APS was created to help bridge that gap by sharing the systems, knowledge, and real-world experience that helped me build my own practice.

APS was created by an acupuncturist who has spent the past 18 years building and growing a multi-provider massage and acupuncture practice. Everything inside the membership is grounded in real-world experience—not just business theory.

While there are many excellent business coaches and educators, much of their advice is designed for businesses in general. Running an acupuncture practice comes with unique considerations, including patient education, treatment planning, referral relationships with other healthcare providers, scope of practice, clinic operations, and the day-to-day realities of practicing Chinese medicine.

Inside APS, you'll learn from someone who understands those challenges because I've experienced them myself. The strategies, templates, systems, and CEUs were developed specifically for acupuncture practices and have been tested and refined within my own clinic.

My goal isn't to teach generic business concepts. It's to help you apply proven business principles in ways that make sense for an acupuncture practice, so you can build a business that's both financially sustainable and personally fulfilling.

Over the past 18 years, I've grown my massage and acupuncture practice into a multi-provider clinic generating nearly $2 million annually. My background includes a bachelor's degree in Business, a Doctorate in Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine, and years of hands-on experience building systems, marketing a practice, hiring teams, and leading a growing healthcare business. Everything I teach comes from real-world experience—not theory alone.

Not at this time. APS focuses on providing scalable education through CEUs, videos, templates, systems, and business resources rather than individualized coaching.

My goal is to create practical resources that members can revisit whenever they need them.

Not exactly. I absolutely share the systems, strategies, and lessons that helped me grow my own practice, so if your goal is to build a multi-provider clinic similar to mine, you'll have a roadmap to help you get there.

But I also recognize that every acupuncturist has a different vision of success.

Maybe your dream is to remain a solo practitioner. Maybe you want a small team. Maybe you want to rent treatment rooms, create multiple income streams, or build a large multidisciplinary wellness center. None of those goals are right or wrong—they're simply different.

My goal isn't to convince you to build the same practice I built. My goal is to expose you to a wide variety of ideas, systems, and strategies so you can intentionally create a practice that aligns with your own goals, lifestyle, and definition of success.

One of my favorite sections inside the Clinical Architect membership is Thinking Like a Clinic Owner. Rather than simply telling you what I did, I share the thought processes behind many of the decisions I made over the past 18 years. My hope is that by learning how to think through opportunities, challenges, and growth decisions like a clinic owner, you'll develop the confidence to create your own direction—not just follow mine.

Ultimately, I want to give you the knowledge, systems, and perspective to build a practice that you're excited to own, whether it looks exactly like mine or completely different.

General

APS is designed to be a growing resource library, not a static collection of content. New CEUs, videos, templates, systems, and practice management resources are added regularly.

Member feedback plays a significant role in determining what content is created next, so the membership continues to evolve based on the needs of our community.

Yes. Many students tell us they wish they had learned more about business before graduation. APS provides practical resources that can help you prepare for private practice, understand business fundamentals, and begin planning for a successful career.

Absolutely. Many experienced practitioners join APS for advanced topics like hiring, leadership, operational systems, marketing strategies, business planning, and continuing education.
